For the November session, we’ll cover CSU’s big data proof of concept. We’ll also discuss integrations of AI into augmented reality devices and using the CLE CDO group to help bring together the Greater Cleveland data community as a larger regional umbrella.
Appetizers and first round will be covered.
CSU will be covering the cost of a limited amount of parking spots. Add a reply to this event if you plan on parking and we’ll provide the parking pass.
Prospect Lot Details for Those with Parking Passes:
Our guests may pull a ticket upon entering and use the provided validation upon exiting the garage. Guests will need to display their pulled ticket on their dashboard and ensure their license plate is facing the drive lane when they park. We can plan to print out copies for guests who attend.

RTA released an API of vehicles’ real-time locations! Interested to delve more into the data and using RTA’s data to improve service and make it easier for fellow Clevelanders to use the RTA, analyze RTA buses if they arrive on schedule, measure coverage and frequency, or any other ideas with the data?
(see https://github.com/luqmaan/awesome-transit for some ideas).
We’ll have space and time to hack on our projects or your own projects if you’d like.
Bring your project ideas and suggestions. Is Open Cleveland for you?
If you have an idea of a project that can help improve a local government?
